Grand Junction Housing Authority Receives Grant from State Farm Insurance
The Grand Junction Housing Authority announced today that it has received a $10,000 grant from State Farm Insurance to support the Calling Mesa County Home Program.
The Calling Mesa County Home Program (CMCH) is an employer assisted workforce home ownership program that helps local employers attract and retain employees. The program includes credit counseling, CHFA-certified home buyer education classes, HUD-certified counseling and down-payment assistance grants.
“This generous grant from State Farm will support financial education in order for perspective homebuyers to make informed decisions, as well as offering them counseling and support after their purchase should they require it,” said Amy Case, CMCH program coordinator.
