disabled households and are subject to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development income guidelines for Mesa County. Applicants should be able to
provide good landlord references.
All utilities are included in the monthly rent; phone and cable TV are not included. Tenants pay approximately one-third of their income for rent.

The ground-level, one-bedroom units at Walnut Park are beautifully landscaped with walking paths, benches for relaxing, and lots of mature trees. Arranged in clusters of four, each unit offers approximately 580 square feet of living space.

Located at 17th and Walnut Streets, Walnut Park is close to grocery stores, churches, hospitals, parks and doctors offices. Indoor and outdoor commons areas are available for social events.

Room for living and dining room furniture and a separate bedroom, with ample storage in the unit.
Friendly & Safe
On-site manager available Monday thru Friday and 24-hour emergency maintenance. Mailboxes are secure in the inside commons area. Street and area lights provide ample lighting. Volunteers conduct monthly blood pressure checks and a yearly tax preparation service. There’s also a quarterly food distribution program.
