Property Manager

The Grand Junction Housing Authority is seeking a full-time Property Manager at Nellie Bechtel Apartments.

The Property Manager performs a variety of work, including budget management, leasing of units, execution and enforcement of leases, annual reviews of tenant income, property inspections and processing of maintenance requests. The Property Manager will help establish and maintain a level of pride in the performance and appearance of GJHA communities by ensuring the property remains a safe, comfortable home that our residents can be proud to reside in.

Hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $16.49/hour.  The position is benefit eligible with a benefit menu that includes health, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid time off accruals, and holiday pay. The schedule is typically 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with the possibility of occasional overtime and the ability to work an approved flexible schedule.  EOE 

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Additional two years of college with emphasis in public or business administration or subject areas appropriate to the assigned duties, or two years minimum experience in property management and/or progressively responsible management position preferred. Work experience should be appropriate to this position.

Maintenance Technician


The Grand Junction Housing Authority is seeking a full-time, Maintenance Technician.

This position is responsible for performing building maintenance, both skilled and unskilled, including appliance repair, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, custodial, and grounds maintenance. This position will be assigned to the maintenance function of turning over apartment units at GJHA properties.  The pay range for this position is $15.14/hr. - $21.18/hr. and the position is eligible for an ala carte benefit menu of health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and additional, supplemental insurances.  This position requires mandatory participation in a 401a retirement plan and does not pay into social security. EOE
